Cooked this by memory of the ingredients stated at the back of the canned ones quite some time ago. That day, we bought a bag of nachos and a can of salsa and sat by the stadium to munch.Salsa is easy to make actually and you can vary the kinds of peppers. I'm never a fan of spanish-texas-kind-of-food, but salsa is an exception.
I used only yellow bell pepper, loads of tomato, basil, onion, garlic. And since i could not find chilli at home, i used dry chilli flakes. It would be better to used fresh chilli though. Do try with green or red bell peper, jalapeno, chilli padi too! Then adjust the taste with some salt and sugar. Serve it with nachos or bake some potato or wedges!
Psss. It turned out a little too sweet, as i did not take the sweetness of yellow peppers into consideration. And, do taste as u adjust. Which, i usually don't. Ha.
