Till death do us part

When the bride and groom gave their thank-you speech, this phrase came to my mind. Both of them said this during the solemnization ceremony and at first I thought it was some beautiful yet also something quite "standard."

During their speech, they recount their courting days. Many of us didn't know the sweet little things that the pair was doing, somewhat in their little own world, but it was really heart-warming and nice.

It was then i get what they really mean by till death do us part.

Everyone will come to death. And i guess what makes us unique is at death and after death, there is someone to grief for us or had promised to if he had taken a step ahead. This remembrance and affection from this unique individual actually defined us and made us special.

I thought this promise was kinda powerful.

May Zijun and Xinhui be binded by this powerful promise in this lifetime.
