2006 Outdoor Display Band Competition

Well, the highlight of the day(22/04/2006) was the outdoor band com! I would have knocked myself if I've decided not to go because of the class gathering at night. Phew... yes, awesome performance by the secondary school bands! I'm always very impressed by display bands ever since the NCO camp with kailing and that was also the first and only time I did display outdoor!

Reminded me the days in Hai Sing when we were preparing for SYF 03. Mm makes me feel like putting a lot of Hai Sing days photos heh. I was so high that I kept telling Cedric, make Hai Sing band go outdoor! Haha, really! Look at their formations and gimmicks it's simply so Cute~ Oh yes! The Drum Majors are cool too! I thought the few DMs who did some dancing and 耍帅 tricks are also very entertaining! Yes, throughout the competition at the national stadium I was screaming and cheering though I was not particularly supporting any bands…except my junior's band (TKSS) and Geraldine's band (titan).

There were altogether 8 bands.

8. PING YI / SPRINGFIELD SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Titans is Ping Yi and Springfield Combine band.
TKSS, Bowen and Deyi got Gold with Honors Medal. Expected. They are always the top few. Yup, their skills are good though. As for the top band, got to wait for the finals which is still some time away.
